The recent R&R event in Punta Cana was a developmental boon for members of Team Proof Management, who made helpful connections and learned an array of valuable insights. It was also a great opportunity for Lindsay, our President, who delivered a speech on leadership.

Lindsay explained, “I spoke about proactive leadership and how positively it can affect your team and company as a whole. Getting ahead of industry trends and consumer priorities has helped our office achieve great success and recognition. The Punta Cana trip was a rare opportunity to meet with so many pace-setters in our business. I was honored to speak on behalf of Proof Management and all the dedicated people who help us reach our goals.”

Our company President keeps a few simple strategies in mind when she prepares to speak in front of a large audience. One is to make eye contact with as many individuals as she can in the crowd. She explained, “I like to find the most attentive listeners and make eye contact with them throughout the speech. Even as I spread to other people in the crowd, I know I can come back to those interested folks as I work my way through my main points.”

Lindsay also moves around onstage to keep people engaged in her speeches. “I think it’s important to be open and accessible when at the podium,” she said. “By stepping out from behind the lectern, I can emphasize major points and keep the crowd’s attention.”

We were proud to be represented by Lindsay at the R&R retreat.
